Stephen Collen, MSCAS, LMHC

Steve has spent twenty years working with individuals and families impacted by substance abuse, conducting developmental evaluations of preschoolers, as well as serving as a consultant school psychologist to The Charlton School. He has been in private practice since 1997, as the director of Glenmont Clinical Services and partnered with Alex Capo in 2005. Steve’s current focus is with couples and adults, providing both individual and group therapy.

Alex C. Capo, LMHC

Alex has been working with adults, children, adolescents and families in various settings for more than ten years. He is the Director of Treatment at The Charlton School and has primarily focused his work with the individuals and families who need support through: Family Therapy, Relationship, Traumatic experiences, Children/adolescents with learning or behavior problems, Grief or loss Anxiety or depression.

Poppy Picozzi, M.S. Ed

Poppy has a Master’s degree in Counseling from The College of St. Rose. She has experience working as a counselor in public schools as well as in a treatment facility for at-risk youth. She currently works with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with stress, depression and anxiety. Poppy also has three children of her own in elementary, middle and high schools.

Edward F. Corless, LCSW=R

Edward is a licensed clinical social worker with fifteen years of professional experience in addiction and mental health treatment and works with individual, family, couples and professional groups. Substance abuse evaluations OASAS approved. Mental health evaluation and psychiatric referrals.

Kara Kowalski, M.A., C.A.S.

Kara has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. Her experience encompasses a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and addiction. She is currently working part time in an elementary setting, as well as providing children, adolescents, adults, and families with mental health services.
